Inspired by nearby rock outcroppings, the home is nested into the hillside creating a private setting and unassuming presence as you approach. The building’s sod roof transitions from the landscape into a series of stone walls that project outward. The varying views are framed within the extensions of stone, resulting in a composition that is irregular but balanced.
