Reid Smith is the founder and principal of Reid Smith Architects, which began in 2003. Over the course of his career, Reid has led the design of hundreds of custom homes throughout the Mountain West, earning a reputation for thoughtful, site-responsive architecture grounded in regional character and lasting quality.

His work has received numerous industry recognitions and reflects a deep understanding of residential design at every scale—from initial concept through construction. Reid is known for his collaborative approach, working closely with clients, builders, and consultants to translate vision into architecture that is both refined and highly livable.

An avid outdoorsman, Reid draws continual inspiration from the landscapes in which he designs. He lives in Bozeman along with his wife and two children, and his personal connection to the mountain environment informs his commitment to creating homes that feel authentic, enduring, and deeply connected to place.
